14 Candidates Receive the Sacrament of Confirmation at STCJ Airoli

On March 23, 2025, a significant spiritual milestone was reached as 14 young candidates from St. Therese of the Child Jesus Church, Airoli received the Sacrament of Confirmation in a solemn and grace-filled ceremony. The Holy Mass was presided over by Bishop Dominic Savio, with the support and guidance of Fr. Samuel Ribeiro. The candidates, having undergone months of preparation through catechism classes, prayer, and reflection, reaffirmed their faith and commitment to Christ. During the Mass, Bishop Dominic Savio invoked the Holy Spirit upon them, anointing each one with the Sacred Chrism, sealing them with the gifts of wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety, and fear of the Lord. In his homily, the Bishop emphasized the importance of living out their faith courageously in today’s world. He encouraged the newly confirmed to be witnesses of Christ’s love, serving their communities with humility and devotion. Fr. Samuel Ribeiro, along with Br. Alan, catechists and parents, played a vital role in preparing the candidates for this sacred moment. Their dedication and commitment ensured that each candidate understood the significance of this sacrament and their responsibility as mature members of the Church.
