“I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never hunger, and whoever believes in me will never thirst.”

— John 6:35

The Parish of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus (STCJ), Airoli, joyfully celebrated the First Holy Communion of 12 children on Sunday, 28th December, during the 9:30a.m. Holy Mass.

This sacred and memorable celebration marked an important milestone in the spiritual journey of the children, as they received Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist for the very first time. Dressed in white, symbolizing purity and new life in Christ, the children participated reverently and prayerfully in the Holy Mass, bringing joy and spiritual enrichment to the entire parish community.

We express our heartfelt gratitude to Rev. Fr. Samuel for his unwavering support, guidance, and pastoral care. His encouragement and spiritual leadership greatly helped the children to understand the significance of the Holy Eucharist as the source and summit of Christian life.

We also acknowledge and appreciate the dedicated efforts of the catechists and parents, whose constant prayer, guidance, and cooperation played a vital role in preparing the children for this sacred sacrament.

As a parish family, let us continue to keep these children in our prayers, that they may grow in faith, love, and devotion, and always remain close to the Eucharistic Lord throughout their lives.
