Women’s Day with a Difference at STCJ Airoli

Every year, Women’s Day at St. Theresa of Child Jesus Airoli was celebrated with an elegant evening ball. While cherished, this time we wanted to give the incredible women in our Parish a complete break—a day of pure relaxation, joy, and fun. After a special Women’s Mass, we whisked everyone away to a resort in Badlapur for a day of laughter and leisure. The highlight? Swimming pool games like balloon-blowing challenges, relay races, and splashy fun that brought out the inner child in everyone. To make the day even more memorable, we created Insta Reels, capturing slow-motion jumps, synchronized splashes, and candid laughter. The energy was contagious, and soon, social media was buzzing with our unique celebration. More than just a day of fun, this was about self-care, bonding, and truly unwinding. As the sun set, one thing was clear—this was one of the best Women’s Day celebrations ever, and perhaps, the start of a new tradition at STCJ Airoli. -Rachael Dsouza
