STCJ Senior Safari & Ageless Adventure at Laura Resort, Titwala

They say "Happy times come and go, but the memories remain forever" and the energetic senior citizens of our parish made sure to enjoy each and every second of their picnic to Laura Resort, Titwala on the 12th of February whilst making memories that will be treasured forever. They may have been there just to have fun and to celebrate their unity as an association of the Church, but they made some wonderful memories along the way, which will never be forgotten and the photos in this article will certainly help everyone understand the amount of fun they had during the picnic.

Under the guidance and presence of our parish priest Fr. Samuel Ribeiro, 32 of our vibrant seniors were a part of this exclusive picnic. They started their journey from St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Church, Airoli with a Rosary whilst thanking Mother Mary for all her blessings. At the resort, they had an amazing time with games, dance, housie, rides and many more things. Every member enjoyed the water park which included activities like swimming, rain dance, slides, water waves etc and it was something that the seniors will cherish for a while.

The resort had multiple more activities like the Roller Coaster, Mary go round, Mini Zoo, Horse Riding etc which was a new and crazy experience for our seniors. With a lot of other games, housie, dance sessions and conversations, it was like one big family who were enjoying their time together and living it to the fullest.

The seniors returned home in the evening with a tired body but with a very fresh mind & they were all happy and felt special to be a part of this picnic.
