Carol singing has always been a favorite annual activity for the members of St. Jude's Community who are spread across Sectors 6, 7 and Rabale & this year, our Carol singing on the 21st of December, 2025 was something very special and unforgettable due to multiple reasons. Over 20 community members willingly agreed to take part in this year's Carol singing with the same mindset - spreading the message of Christmas in the best way and to make someone's day better with our Carols, Santa Claus and our Energy. Like every year, a specific route was planned for junction wise Carol singing which made sure that every area and every region under the community was covered, however, this year we decided to break the rules by even changing the routes and going to areas outside our community to bring a smile on every child's face who wanted to meet our Santa Claus. We made sure to greet everyone Merry Christmas to keep the spirit of the season alive. Our idea was clear, this wasn't an event only to celebrate Santa Claus, but also to celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. The volume and energy whilst singing the Carols never went down right from the first minute till the end, we made sure to wish every child, their parents and everyone else a Merry Christmas & also brought a smile on their faces by giving everyone a chocolate in a very unique way. The highlight of the day was us changing our routes and entering 2 gardens in our area after listening to loud cheers and requests by the kids who were playing in those gardens. Not one community member objected or questioned this decision as all of us had the same goal. We met a lot of kids who had mixed emotions of joy, happiness, surprise, shock and even tears as they really wanted to see Santa Claus and at a point we thought they won't let us go. We were happy to see a lot of people from other faiths also joining us in singing and dancing during the activity, many people wanted a photo with the Santa and our community members. Our Carol singing started from Blacksmith Towers, Sector 6, Airoli and ended at Silver Creek CHS, Rabale with 8 stops in between at different junctions. The end was the best one as we had kids and adults gather to see the Santa and to also see our community members singing Carols. With over 100 children covered throughout the activity, this Carol singing helped us become better humans and helped us understand the values of Christmas in a better way as we did our best to spread kindness, peace, love and happiness.
