St. Don Bosco Community Celebrates Parents' Day and Grandparents' Day

Parishioners of St. Don Bosco Community came together on Sunday, 2nd August 2026 to celebrate Parents and Grandparents Day — an evening dedicated to honoring the love, wisdom, and faith of the elders who are the pillars of our families.

The celebration began with a heartfelt prayer for Parents and Grandparents, seeking God’s blessings of health, peace, and joy upon them. The prayer set a warm and spiritual tone for the evening and reminded everyone of the vital role grandparents play in passing on faith and values to the next generation.

This was followed by a series of planned activities and games that brought laughter and togetherness to the hall. The interactive sessions were immensely enjoyed by grandparents, parents, and children alike, creating a lively and positive environment. Adding to the charm of the evening, gifts were distributed to all families in the community by our youngest member, Master Evan, whose bright smile captured the true spirit of love across generations.

The program concluded with a community dinner, where families shared food, stories, and bonds that grew stronger over the course of the evening. It was more than just a celebration — it was a reminder of the importance of staying united as a community and cherishing every generation.
