Grandparents' Day Celebration by St. Dominic Savio Community

They say your small efforts may not make a big difference in this big world but you can definitely make a very big difference in someone's small world with kindness, love and prayer. This is exactly what the children and youth of St. Dominic Savio Community had in mind for this year's Grandparents' Day. The lovely children and youth of St. Dominic Savio community gathered and did something very special for every grandparent in their community by visiting them and by also making a hand made greeting card for them as a token of their love & appreciation for them. They also carried a rosary and a rose to make things even better. The animators prayed for the children and grandparents as a gesture of love which was presented by the kids via a bouquet of prayers. The children also offered Mass at Church today for the grandparents of their community. Each child dedicated some prayers to every grandparent mentioning the same in their card too. Amachi (the most senior member of the community at 90 years) sang a beautiful hymn and then said a meaningful prayer for all the children. They hope this inspires everyone around to love and protect the seniors & also help others to spend more time in prayer.
