The Holy time of Lent is incomplete without the ritual of STCJ's magical Palm Sunday evenings. This time, it was historical, because this year's musical evening was conducted by our very own STCJ Youth Band. After years of having a dream of having our own band, this year we finally made it happen.

On 13th April, 2025 after having a beautiful morning attending the Palm Sunday Eucharistic celebration, we were all geared up for the most awaited evening of Echoes of the Soul. The event begun at 7:30pm and comprised of 6 spiritual & meaningful songs performed by the band which represented 6 different emotions which were beautifully explained by Brother Alan.

The Youth Band led by Shanelle Sethi included our versatile singers Amreena Thomas, Yvonne Sequeira, Jeston D'Souza & Karen D'Souza accompanied by our exceptional vocal harmonies Cassandra Moraes & Benita Mendonsa. On the instruments we had the very gifted Annie Santiago on the Keyboard and the skilled Keigan Cardoza & Sharon Raju on the guitar.

As the final notes of Echoes of the Soul gently faded into the evening, a profound sense of peace and reflection filled the air. This Palm Sunday, the musical gathering became more than a performance—it was a shared journey of faith, hope, and renewal. Through each stirring melody and heartfelt lyric, the audience was invited to pause, to listen, and to reconnect with the true spirit of the season. Echoes of the Soul left an enduring imprint on every heart present, a beautiful reminder that music, like faith, transcends words and touches the deepest parts of our being.
